Ryan started at the Lubbock County District Clerk's Office, where he was the main point of contact for issuing citations. He helped implement the e-filing system Lubbock County still runs today.
After the District Clerks, he went on to work for a personal-injury firm to deepen his understanding of the field — then in August 2016 he founded WesTex Legal, and has been all-in ever since, serving clients across Texas and New Mexico full-time.
